Sunscreen
Weather is warming up and as we spend more time outdoors, we need to think about what is on and around our bodies!

Bug Spray
I prefer bug sprays made with essential oils or picaridin. I personally do not use DEET.
Here are a few lower-tox options.
Earthley Bug Shield: Natalie10off for 10% off
"Powered by catnip, peppermint, rosemary, and citronella, this plant-based bug spray offers natural protection that’s gentle on skin and tough on insects. Unlike chemical repellents, it keeps bugs away without toxins or harsh scents."
Primally Pure Nature Spray: NMN10 for 10% off
"This natural mosquito repellent is DEET-free and full of organic ingredients that bugs can't stand. Citronella, Cedarwood, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Geranium, and Peppermint essential oils are all a part of this exclusive, effective plant-based defense system."
"Provides up to 3 hours of protection from mosquitos and other biting insects with an organic, synthetic chemical free, DEET-free mosquito spray that is gluten free, GMO free, cruelty free, and vegan insect repellent."
OFF! Clean Feel Insect Repellant
Fragrance-Free Picaridin Bug Spray
Swim Spray
Pools are full of chemicals, specifically chlorine. Chlorine in pools can irritate the skin, eyes, and lungs and when it reacts with sweat and other contaminants, it forms byproducts that may be even more harmful to respiratory and overall health.
"This spray neutralizes chlorine and protects skin and hair from chlorinated pool or water exposure. Sodium ascorbate (a form of vitamin C) is the super star in this spray, as it helps to change chlorine to an unharmful compound that can be easily rinsed from the skin and hair. This helps to prevent and relieve possible effects of chlorine exposure such as itching, burning, and dryness."
Cotton Clothing
Much of ‘fast fashion’ clothing are made of polyester, which is plastic. Polyester is linked to infertility, cancers, and many other health problems. This is especially concerning when these fabrics are exposed to UV rays and heat. Look for clothing made of natural fabrics such as cotton or linen.
Bronzing Lotion
Most bronzing lotions and tanning drops contain synthetic fragrance, preservatives, and other additives that can irritate skin and increase toxin load.
Look for simple formulas with minimal ingredients, no added fragrance (“parfum”), and a clean base like aloe or glycerin.
Rowe Casa Bronzing Lotion: NAT20 for 20% off
Bites, Splinters, Poisons
Some sort of ‘drawing salve’ is necessary when spending time outside. This helps to ‘draw out’ the foreign object, whether that is saliva from an insect bite, a stinger, a splinter, oil from poison ivy, etc.
Earthley Black Drawing Salve: Natalie10off
Stop the Itch Cream: NAT20
